An existing pedestrian bridge connects activity areas on the north side of the park with the quiet natural area south of the creek.

With accumulated sediment removed from the creek, open water can flow and meander through the restored wetland.

Visitors will be able to birdwatch and explore nature along winding pathways, with board walks providing access through wet marsh habitat.

A pier overlooking the pond will provide an up close view of the water, aquatic plants, fish, frogs and turtles.

The stream and surrounding areas will be enhanced with features that provide habitat for mammals, birds and amphibians including sunfish, bluegill, bass, frogs and turtles.

We don’t inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children.
