The City of Greenfield is planning a project along the Honey Creek that will reduce flooding, enhance plant and animal habitat, improve water quality, and provide new passive recreational opportunities for park users. The Honey Creek Stream Restoration project has attracted the attention of local and regional environment groups and agencies as an example of the many benefits of restoring and protecting urban streams. With the assistance of our grant funding partners, we will be able to reduce flooding, restore the creek to its natural condition, and provide a new park amenity for our residents.
